Boarding Options to Suit Every Family
We understand that families have different needs. GIS offers three flexible boarding options:
Full Boarding
Students reside at the boarding facility throughout the academic term. They return home during mid-term breaks and holidays. This option provides structure, independence, and continuous access to a caring, supervised environment.
Hybrid
Students stay in the boarding house during weekdays, but return home on Friday after school for the weekend. They come back Sunday evening in time for pastoral care, striking a balance between family time and boarding life.
Flexible Boarding
As part of the Flexible Boarding Programme, families can choose for their wards to stay in the boarding house for a week or more, based on their needs. When space allows, final-year students are encouraged to join to prepare effectively for examinations.
